Happy New Year from Out of the Box Events! With one flip of a calendar page, we all get a fresh start – and here at OOTBE, that means a newly redesigned website, too.  A few months ago we relocated to a new office space with amazing views from our windows.  We literally have a new outlook on Los Angeles, and we can’t wait to explore it with you!


In the spirit of the new year, we’re also making some resolutions.  New Year’s Resolutions sometimes get a bad reputation — it’s so easy to make promises and then drop them once we get caught up in the whirl of business.  But as we’re learned by moving offices and debuting our new website, major changes can take months of planning.  We can’t keep our resolutions without resolve!  So as part of our New Year’s Resolutions, we promise:


  1. More adventures. In a city this big, beautiful and bustling, there are always more secrets to discover.  Our curiosity and sense of play keep us diving into different locations then inviting you all along for the ride.  But even Out of the Box Events has to remember to keep thinking out of the box, so this resolution is always our Number One.


More blogs! Life’s too exciting to keep to ourselves.  We want to tell you all about it.  You’ll be hearing our news and plans on a weekly basis.  Come read, comment, and ask questions.  Adventures are more fun with friends, as we’re sure you’ve noticed on our scavenger hunts.

As we say hello to a new year, we say goodbye to the old one, too.  Life’s short, and the years pass faster and faster.  We won’t remember most of those afternoons we spend cleaning the house or getting the oil changed in our cars.  All that day-to-day business is important, but we have to make time for our friends and ourselves.  Let’s make our days special.  Let’s feed our minds, work our bodies and explore our environment.  And most importantly, let’s enjoy the company of those around us.
